| Members
of the Indiana Disc Jockey Association are expected to hold themselves
and their DJ business to the highest standards of professionalism, and
promote their business in a respectable manner that is an example to
others as an ambassador for the IDJA.
IDJA Members
Shall:
- Promote
professionalism in all aspects of their DJ business.
- Use Integrity in all
business matters and performances.
- Operate their DJ
business in accordance with all federal, state and local laws, statutes
and ordinances.
- Always provide a
written contract for their services detailing all information, agreement
terms and conditions of their requested performance, as well as
responsibilities required by both parties.
- Take responsibility
for misunderstandings and always give the customer the benefit of any
situation.
- Always give full
disclosure of their services, skills and abilities. Members shall never
mis-represent any services or aspects of their business. Member shall
always provide truth in advertising and promotion.
- Always use caution and
promote safety in their set-ups and performance, looking out for all
persons ~ clients, guests, employees, vendors and themselves.
- Promote friendship and
cooperation among other professionals including peers in the
professional DJ community.
- Support the IDJA,
promoting goodwill on behalf of the DJ profession.
